Warehouse management
The Terra Project project management system also covers the management of raw materials used in projects. In the project management solution we built, the warehouse module will help you manage the quantity of products you need and order products straight from the supplier offering the lowest price. This reduces the company resources spent on buying products and storing raw materials and avoids duplicate orders.
Often the raw materials needed for a project and its work are ordered from suppliers, arrive at warehouses and are entered into the system. If a company already uses a warehouse management system, Terra Project can be connected to it through an integration, receiving only the essential information.
Raw materials needed for project work can be received into stock and then reserved for a specific project. With this information it is easier to follow warehouse stock and keep records of it, replenish missing products and send inquiries to suppliers straight from the system. From the warehouse stock visible in the system in real time, you can see which raw materials will need to be ordered from suppliers soon, which are in surplus and which are used more or less often.
Raw materials written off or used from the warehouse and their costs are also used to calculate project costs and final estimates. The overall information is in one system, so it is easier to access and available in real time. It can also be included in reports.
